Our annual New Year mailing is a carefully curated and sought-after print item. Intrigued by a project without client and brief we set ourselves strict aesthetic rules and an open, generic theme of time and place. We are always fascinated by the visual expression of scientific data and find joy in coming up with design solutions that are unique and intriguing.
With over 17,800 students Hochschule München is Bavaria’s largest University of Applied Sciences. Keller Maurer Design was commissioned to re-brand the organisation — reflecting its excellence in education. The new identity incorporated elements of the past while introducing the acronym HM. Taking conceptual cues from science and practice the identity combines a dynamic visual system with a rigorous typographic expression.
Michelhaus is located in Ernen, one of Switzerland’s most original villages in the Canton of Valais. Aiming to capture the beauty and craftsmanship of the luxurious hideaway, Keller Maurer Design developed an identity based on a bold typographic theme supported by photography by Scanderbeg Sauer Photographers and copy writing by Agnes Bachmaier.
For this latest issue of Schloss Hohenkammer’s annual magazine, staff members present their favourite places inside and all around the hotel and seminar centre near Munich. On board with Keller Maurer Design were photographers Myrzik & Jarisch and writer Agnes Bachmaier.
The non-profit organisation Munich Re Foundation engages in global challenges like climate change and the development of solutions for people at risk. Keller Maurer Design oversees the visual identity which is applied to a wide range of digital publications and event designs.
Working closely with several teams at Hochschule München we are now developing sub-brands, unit identities and event visuals based on the corporate identity we introduced in 2020. Existing initiatives are brought closer to the new brand while new projects offer lots of opportunities to explore the corporate design and bring the brand to life.
Füsser is an estate agent focused on premium property in the famous Tegernsee region south of Munich. We developed the brand in 2014 and relaunched the identity in 2022. A new visual system, colour palette, and subtle typography produce a considerate, understated and confident identity across various print and digital applications — all documented in detailed corporate design guidelines.
Schloss Hohenkammer magazine goes encyclopedia — the A to Z of everything that is the seminar centre north of Munich. For this issue we teamed up with Oliver Herwig and Cornelia Klaila to tell the story of Schloss Hohenkammer with a compendium of knowledge.
Visual identity for exclusive Zurich based hair and beauty salon Reto Holzer Coiffeurs introduced by Keller Maurer Design and refreshed in 2023. We worked again with photographers Scanderbeg Sauer to develop beautiful visuals based on minerals.

Visual identity for Haus Sankt Ulrich, a hotel and seminar centre located in the city of Augsburg, owned by the church and situated in a characteristic building by architect Alexander von Branca. Andreana Scanderbeg and Alexander Sauer work in Zurich and Munich as a team of consultant and photographer. Scanderbeg Sauer are best-known for very precise corporate and industrial photography in extreme conditions and locations worldwide. We devised identity, stationery, website and magazine.

Cornelia Klaila is a communication expert, media trainer, press officer, consultant, blogger — and altogether great person and friend. As we all go digital, print takes on a whole new meaning: the feel of paper, careful print finishes, book binding, the moment of unpacking and touching, the uniqueness of print. deVega, a company specialised in environmentally-friendly printing techniques, commissioned Keller Maurer Design to reimagine their 2023 notebook. A notebook that confidently displays technology and printing craftsmanship and subtly allows an insight into the world of the tangible.
Visual identity and website for a lawyer’s office based in Munich and Kempten and run by the Ehmann brothers. To underline the duality of the enterprise we came up with a typographic solution based on the letters EE and a simple fresh colour scheme.

The non-profit association MUSIC CONNECTS brings music and arts education to refugees around the world. Refugees, especially children, suffer severe trauma during and after their displacement. MUSIC CONNECTS provides musical training for youths and promotes cultural development. It is a chance to escape the dire circumstances in which they find themselves. Music is a way in which they are able to rekindle hope, and look forward towards a better future. Keller Maurer Design supports MUSIC CONNECTS and developed the identity on a pro-bono basis.
Schätzler Architekten are an architectural firm that works on projects of all types and scales. Seeking to attract young professionals the architects commissioned Keller Maurer Design to develop a new visual identity and website. Vequel and Preysing are limited editions of wines for Schloss Hohenkammer. The packaging takes inspiration from names and emblems of historic families who owned the castle north of Munich for which Keller Maurer Design oversees the visual identity.
At the Faculty of Design at Hochschule München and Hochschule für Gestaltung Schwäbisch Gmünd Keller Maurer Design teach visual systems and identity. In our courses students develop identities for specific places, groups of people or concepts.
This visual identity was developed for an inn and hotel in the middle of a large forest area in the Altmühltal Nature Park. We redesigned an old pictorial mark found on the premises, developed a colour scheme based on seasons, and designed a playful word mark that stands out and reflects the unusual location.
